Am I Really Alive??

Are we alive??  Is this world real? Are we just an epiphany in someone's mind in another world or universe?  Or are we really here?  These are all unknown answers that, I guess, we will never really know until we move on to the next life.  But I'd like to think that we are real.  I'd like to think that we are here for a purpose.  That we are an actual being that isn't just some chemical reaction that happened from an explosion in space.  I'd like to believe that we really have a heart beat and that we aren't just a bunch of codes in a computer.  But am I alive?  I guess I will just let my life determine that question.
